You will be treated by a Chartered Physiotherapist who is a member of, and is regulated by The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and the Health Professions Council (HPC) formally the State Registration Board.

Andy Carswell MCSP is the main chartered physiotherapist at Get Physio.

Andy graduated from Leeds School of Physiotherapy in 1985. Having worked at Leeds General Infirmary and then the Yorkshire Clinic as Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist, Andy moved to the Northern Police Convalescent and Treatment Centre in Harrogate as Senior Physiotherapist in 1990. He was subsequently appointed Head Physiotherapist. While at the Police Treatment Centre, Andy set up his own part-time practice at the Harrogate Squash & Fitness Centre. In September 2007 Andy left the Police Treatment Centre to develop Get Physio at the Squash Club.

Experience: Andy specialises in the treatment and management of injuries or problems that occur to the musculoskeletal system, which means anything to do with joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, the spine , pelvis and nerves. 

Sports injury involvement over the years: Harrogate RUFC, Ripon RUFC, Leeds cougars American football, GB Police Rugby league, GB Police Ladies Rugby Union, occasional world ranked squash player.

Andy is married with three children, and enjoys mountain biking, wind surfing and camping.
