Having made an appointment what happens next?
At your first appointment your problem will be assessed, i.e. how long you have had it, its cause, what makes it worse, better etc. A physical assessment of your movement will take place which may involve analysing areas much further away, e.g. some types of knee or even ankle pain may be caused by muscle weakness around the pelvis.

Consultation fees will be discussed at your first enquiry.

Payment may be made by cash or cheque. We do not have the facility at present to accept payment by credit or debit cards.

Note: If you have private health care, such as BUPA or AXA/PPP, fees for physiotherapy will be reimbursed. However you must contact your provider first and follow their instructions. You may be required to gain authorisation from your GP to attend for physiotherapy.
